A Job

Please Note I am typing this up fast and publishing it without proofing. In a hurry!

All I want is a job. That has been pretty much my comment for the past six months. Now the unemployment has run out. I am paid up on bills til August. In the meantime, I have registered for classes at Purdue University in order to return for a second bachelors degree in social studies for secondary education. YAY! I can float tuition and bills on student loans for a little while.

Tonight, I start a job as a waitress for a local eatery here. Not only will I be waitressing, I will also be a line cook for the same place. I am still looking for a social work job like madness here. I thought I had a decent interview last week. It seemed to go really well. In the meantime, I get a rejection letter. I have a pile of those from the past six months. It's a real confidence killer to see a pile of rejection letters and now I am waitressing. What the fuck?! Thank you Wabash Valley Hospital Inc for fucking me over.

School looks like it will be a big challenge. Purdue is nothing like PNC. I mean PNC acted like it gave a shit about its students. Main campus is one big money grubbing hub of people that don't seem to care. What a buracreacy as well. Sheesh. I am a non-traditional student with a need to have time free, AKA days off during the week so I can work. I have to have a note from an employer saying this, otherwise campus will have be five days a friggen week in classes. SHEESH!

Other than those particular gripes, Adam and I continue to do well. Oh Happiness! We're planning on Pennsic this year. YIPPEE! My first PENNSIC! Happy Dance! I will be going provided I don't find a full time job before school starts. I have a whole month and a hlaf to find a full time job. I hope something positive happens soon. Time to go for now.
